Job Summary
Disassemble roller bearings using hydraulic presses and hand tools, then sort components and load wash racks for washing operations. Operate washers to maintain proper chemistry, unload racks, and mark parts for identification. Load and unload components for shot blasting, operating the blaster to remove contaminations while maintaining appropriate settings. Perform preventative maintenance tasks including pumping and cleaning washers, replacing nozzles, and clearing catch basins to prevent equipment downtime. Document manufacturing performance issues to maintain shift continuity and participate in process improvement initiatives using lean tools. Act as a coach and trainer for new associates while supporting improvement projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to stand for extended period of time
- Ability to perform repetitive or short-cycle work
- Frequent lifting, walking, reaching, pushing and handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Moderate twisting and bending
- Limited climbing on step stools or platforms
- Fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement
- Vision must be normal (20/20)
- Correctional lenses are acceptable
