Job Summary
Recertification Specialist responsible for managing the recertification process at a Peabody Properties apartment community in Charlestown, MA.Requires expertise in LIHTC, Project-Based Section 8, and EIV with strong program compliance, resident-relations focus, and accurate income/assets/rent calculations. Proficiency with OneSite and Microsoft Office, plus excellent communication and organizational skills. Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish, and optionally Cantonese/Mandarin) are a plus. Compensated at $34/hour with comprehensive benefits; EEO employer; remote work not indicated; on-site responsibilities at the Charlestown location.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in property management
- Proficiency in administration of LIHTC, Project-Based Section 8 and EIV
- COS certification a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Knowledge of OneSite
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong communication, organizational, writing, and computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail in document/file maintenance
- Proficient understanding of basic math concepts
