Job Summary

Execute Tomahawk AUR recertification engineering activities across multiple sites, coordinating with NAVAIR SMEs, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve system deficiencies and address obsolescence issues. Develop Engineering Change Proposals, review contractor deliverables, and conduct Engineering Investigations while updating system interface control documents. Assist in test planning and resolve integration issues with other TWS segments. Provide technical support for Request for Proposal generation and lead engineering efforts for this ACAT 2 program. Requires semi-frequent CONUS travel, a Top-Secret clearance, and ten years of engineering experience.

Required Qualifications

  • At least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position
  • Demonstrated knowledge in an area of engineering expertise
  • MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related engineering discipline
  • BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience
  • Active TS//SCI clearance with current background investigation
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with current background investigation

Desired Qualifications

  • Team assignment progression of increasing responsibility involving direct interaction with program/project office & engineering disciplines in application of systems engineering, safety, airworthiness, acquisition, and program management processes
  • Multiple team leadership roles leading multi-discipline teams
  • 3 to 5 years of proven sustained performance in a relevant subsystem SE (i.e. APMSE) role
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant Naval Aviation experience in an engineering discipline
  • APMSE rotational assignments
  • Active TS//SCI clearance with current background investigation
