Job Summary

Receptionist at Victory Programs’ Boston facility responsible for front desk operations including answering the main telephone line, signing in members/clients/volunteers/visitors, providing information about Victory Programs’ services, facilitating internal referrals, supporting case management scheduling and follow-up, handling mail and deliveries, maintaining a professional desk area, overseeing opening/closing procedures, and providing program support such as harm reduction supply distribution and milieu engagement. The role requires excellent customer service, professional communication, strong computer skills (Google Office suites), familiarity with health and housing-related social issues, and adherence to agency standards. CPR certification and TB screening may be obtained upon hire, and candidates should have the ability to work both independently and within a team. The position is scheduled Monday–Friday (40 hours) on-site with a pay rate of $23.32/hr.

Required Qualifications

  • GED or high school diploma
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Strong computer skills, including Google office suites and Internet use
  • Reception or related experience preferred
  • Must be CPR certified (may be obtained upon hire)
  • Completed TB screening (may be obtained upon hire)
  • Three work related professional references; at least 2 from manager or supervisor
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a professional team
