Job Summary
Coordinate front desk activities by greeting guests, handling incoming telephone calls, and directing visitors accordingly. Greet residents and family members while promoting the mission and core values of The Residence at Paine Estate. File correspondence, sort mail, and record guest meal charges. Maintain resident safety sheets, update the communication log book, and ensure the front desk remains neat and orderly. Respond to emergency situations by contacting appropriate parties such as 911, fire, or police. Maintain community brochures and stock while attending required in-service training sessions. Represent the residence professionally to potential residents and the surrounding community to support occupancy growth.
Required Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of basic telephone reception systems and techniques
- The ability to handle all incoming telephone calls and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner

- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifteen (15) lbs and be able to carry objects
- Must be able to push and pull carts
- Must be able to continuously walk, sit and stand
- Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate
- Must use good body mechanics
- Must be able to type and use a computer
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Typing or word processing experience is preferred
