Job Summary
Greet guests, visitors, and potential residents while handling incoming telephone calls and directing them accordingly. Coordinate front desk activities by filing correspondence, sorting mail, and recording guest meal charges. Maintain resident safety sheets, update the communication log book, and keep the front desk neat and orderly. Respond to residents' needs and emergency situations by contacting appropriate parties such as 911, the fire department, or police. Promote the mission of The Residence at Great Woods and LCB Senior Living to the surrounding community while representing the residence professionally. Work every other weekend from 8am to 2pm as a part-time associate earning $16.00 to $19.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of basic telephone reception systems and techniques
- The ability to handle all incoming telephone calls and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner

- Requires six months to one-year prior reception experience in an office environment
- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifteen (15) lbs and be able to carry objects
- Must be able to push and pull carts
- Must be able to continuously walk, sit and stand
- Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate
- Must use good body mechanics
- Must be able to type and use a computer
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Typing or word processing experience is preferred
