Job Summary
Receptionist responsible for all facets of incoming calls and visitors to the office including directing calls to correct employee/department, taking messages, updating the telephone directory, the internal site, and Outlook directory for the respective office; ensuring visitors have appropriate badges and escorted per SOPs; handling mail and shipping, sorting and delivering mail and faxes, receiving shipments, and assisting with outgoing shipments; coordinating conference room scheduling and meeting setup; assisting with taxi and hotel bookings; overseeing supplies and office/kitchen items; coordinating vendor services, security/alarms support, and office maintenance; providing general administrative support and maintaining confidentiality; requires strong MS Office and Outlook skills and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; office-based role with emphasis on professional conduct and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Nominal receptionist experience
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Outlook
- Ability to operate office equipment (copier, calculator)
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and team-oriented skills
- Professional presence and ability to interact with all levels of employees
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Intermediate English level
