Job Summary
Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and maintain visitor logs while managing daily mail, deliveries, and office supplies. Open and close the switchboard and lobby between 8 am and 5 pm, sort checks, and order supplies. Collaborate with digital media and traffic departments on web projects, production tapes, and schedule reconciliations. Clip and post segments online, organize prize databases, and assist with FCC reports. Work alternate schedules and full days as needed, maintaining punctuality and flexibility to cover hours.
Required Qualifications
- Solid working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Google
- Basic knowledge of the station's programming schedule
- High school diploma
- Must be adaptable to change
- Must be customer service oriented
- Must have experience working with the public
- Must have good problem-solving skills
- Must be able to remain calm in the midst of chaos
- Must be able to get along with others
- Must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be flexible to work extra hours to cover hours when needed
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
