Job Summary
Greet client families and visitors at the front desk by welcoming, directing, and announcing them courteously. Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls to appropriate staff members while maintaining organized electronic and paper files. Escort guests to rooms, notify staff of appointments, and handle deceased belongings following chain of custody procedures. Provide beverages and amenities to families, manage the waiting area, and dispose of trash. Perform light typing, proofreading, data entry, or printing as needed. Maintain a comfortable environment and handle sensitive situations with poise and diplomacy. Requires high school diploma, six months of office experience, and proficiency with MS Office. Schedule includes Saturdays, Sundays, and beyond standard business hours. Compensation is $20.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months general office, receptionist, or administrative support experience preferred
- Proficient at operating telephones, fax, copier
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Clear and professional speaking voice and tone
- Professional interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
