Job Summary
Greet visitors in person, direct them to appropriate personnel, and manage the telecommunications system by answering all incoming calls, logging communications, and coordinating transfers. Coordinate clerical functions including maintaining the office environment, purchasing postage, managing the employee directory, routing mail, and entering data into Donor Perfect and medical records systems. Maintain professionalism with all visitors and callers while promoting the organization's mission and values. This part-time, non-exempt role requires bilingual Spanish skills, strong telephone and computer abilities, and the physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience preferably in hospice or health care
- Is at least 18 years of age
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Telephone skills
- Verbal communications
- Listening skills
- Professionalism
- Able to type 50 words per minute
- Personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Business machine knowledge
- Must be able to sit, stand, squat, bend, kneel, twist and climb
- Must be able to lift and push/pull up to 20 pounds
- Must drive in various weather conditions on roads in varying degrees of repair
- Travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from a one (1) or two (2) year business college
- Bilingual in Spanish
