Job Summary
Receptionist needed to provide general office support with clerical duties including answering calls, directing calls, mail distribution, requisition of supplies, and related tasks within Norview Heights Rehabilitation and Nursing facilities. Responsibilities include handling switchboard operations, directing callers to appropriate departments, providing facility information, processing mail, coordinating express mail services, assisting with ordering and stocking office supplies, and performing other clerical duties as needed. Requires high school diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year of customer service/clerical experience, excellent phone etiquette, strong verbal and written English communication, proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and basic Internet navigation, ability to maintain confidentiality, and ability to work well in a team and handle multiple priorities with accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience
- Six (6) months to one (1) year customer service experience or related experience performing office/clerical duties
- Excellent phone etiquette skills required
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Demonstrated basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives
- Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change
