Job Summary
Receptionist to greet clients arriving at the office and provide initial information about the firm’s services; collect preliminary information from new clients to determine case histories; record information and forward to lawyers or legal assistants; manage calls via PABX and relay messages; handle incoming/outgoing correspondence; oversee storage of office supplies and liaise with vendors; ensure conference/ shared spaces are tidy for client meetings; assist attorneys, paralegals, and staff with clerical duties; requires strong organization, professionalism, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Entry level experience working in an office setting, preferably in the legal environment
- Knowledge of general office practices
- Skill in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated skill in effective oral and written communication
- Skill in exercising sound judgment and effective decision making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ProDoc
