Job Summary

Answer phone, route and screen calls, and monitor visitor access to contribute to organizational security. Schedule appointments and perform reminders while maintaining client and administrative record filing systems with strict confidentiality. Order and track office supply inventory, adhere to health and safety practices, and provide support for on-site meetings including setup and cleanup. Perform duties related to personnel and payroll systems while upholding high standards of integrity and professionalism.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of Behavioral Health medical terms
  • Two years of related experience or medical office courses
  • Knowledge of technological advances that include, but are not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet, fax/copy machines, cell phones, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal format to meet the position responsibilities
  • Ability to schedule/plan work in advance and set effective and realistic timelines to meet goals
  • Ability to interact effectively with local and state government representatives, individuals, staff, referral sources, and other designated individuals
  • Demonstrate good moral character and even temperament necessary to gain and maintain credibility and trust of persons-served and co-workers
  • Personable, positive, and enthusiastic attitude, with capability to deal effectively with all people
  • Must be available for part time M-F 8:30 - 1:00
  • Must be located in or willing to work in Mount Clemens
