Job Summary
Receptionist at Ingleside Communities serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff, delivering a friendly, professional, and customer-focused experience in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include welcoming visitors, directing them to the appropriate department, maintaining confidentiality, managing a paging system to locate individuals, and performing administrative and clerical support as assigned by the office manager or facility administrator. The role emphasizes organization, reliability, and exceptional customer service, with on-site, part-time hours (1:00 pm–7:00 pm, 3 days/week plus every other weekend). Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a high school graduate
- Must have great communication skills
- Must have typing and organization skills
- Must be able to meet the public in a friendly, welcoming manner
- Must have knowledge of office equipment and supplies
- Must have sincere desire to work with residents, staff, visitors, and family members
- Must be able to intermittently stand, walk and sit 6-8 hours in an 8-hour day
- Must be able to occasionally bend, squat and twist body
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 20# with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects up to 10#
