Job Summary
Answer incoming calls and forward them to the appropriate department while greeting guests in person or on the phone. Handle all lobby traffic, including signing in delivery services, vendors, and maintenance workers, ensuring the lobby remains presentable. Manage client catalog orders, auction bids, and payments with meticulous attention to detail, documenting all interactions in the client database system. Provide follow-up to resolve inquiries and concerns promptly. Work extended hours and weekends during auction season. This role supports Heritage Auctions' global network of experts across over 50 categories, connecting collectors and consignors through a dynamic marketplace celebrating history and craftsmanship.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma
- 2+ years of experience in customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook and Excel
- Excellent phone presence
- Interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude
- Exceptional client service skills
- Ability to multitask

- Ability to work well with others
