Job Summary
Receptionist position handling front-desk duties for patient services: greeting patients and visitors, answering inquiries by phone or in person, scheduling appointments, maintaining and retrieving patient records, updating personal and financial information, processing charges and third-party claims, and ensuring confidentiality. Responsibilities include keeping the reception area organized, managing inventory and supplies, supporting billing and revenue processes, and assisting in emergencies while adhering to policies and procedures. Required: high school diploma or GED; experience preferred; skills in EMR/EHR, customer service, telephone etiquette, time management, organization, attention to detail, professionalism, and a quality-focused approach.
