Job Summary
Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct callers to appropriate personnel with a friendly demeanor. Provide clerical support to programs and departments by routing clients, maintaining administrative logs, and managing interdepartmental communication. Track and receive packages, manage parking reservations, and create a weekly site calendar. Assist with psychiatric calls and appointments while ensuring patient privacy and protecting Protected Health Information. Maintain punctual attendance and handle confidential information with sensitivity to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Requires Spanish/English bilingual skills and basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of Receptionist/Administrative experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Spanish/ English bilingual
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Maintains patient privacy, including protecting the confidentiality, safeguarding the integrity and availability, and limiting the use and disclosure of patient Protected Health Information (PHI) to authorized individuals and entities
- Punctual and dependable attendance
- Free from alcohol and drug abuse
- Understands CII's basic philosophy and participates fully in carrying out its mission
- Must have basic knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail
