Job Summary
Open and close multiple building locations depending on your shift, conduct fire and security patrols, and manage keys and audiovisual equipment for meetings. Welcome visitors, students, and external parties while maintaining order, distributing mail, and registering key handovers. Act as the host for common areas, handle incoming packages, and report safety issues or operational bottlenecks to management. Adhere to BHV guidelines for emergency situations and coordinate with the Service Centre for repairs. This on-call role within Young Group's Hospitality department requires flexibility for evening and weekend coverage across several buildings in Nijmegen. Fluency in Dutch (B2) and English (B1) is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a receptionist or in hospitality

- Possession of a BHV certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Good command of the Dutch language (B2 level)
- Good command of the English language (B1 level)

- Ability to speak and interact with others
- Valid VOG (criminal record check)
- Ability to open and close buildings
- Ability to conduct fire and security rounds

- Ability to receive and escort guests, companies, students, external parties, and employees
- Ability to announce visitors and suppliers by phone or email
- Ability to maintain order and cleanliness in the building
- Ability to issue keys and register transfers
- Ability to distribute incoming mail and accept packages and registered items
- Ability to act as a host/guest for the general area
- Ability to involve the Service Centre for malfunctions
- Ability to manage audiovisual equipment for meetings/lectures
- Ability to act in accordance with BHV guidelines during emergencies
- Ability to signal bottlenecks or problems and make suggestions
