Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Regional and OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Flatbed pay structure includes weekly pay, annual pay range approximately $56,949 to $102,993, and various accessorial pays (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, tarp-heavy loads). Equipment: flatbed trucks; Driver responsibilities include loading/unloading (tarps weighing ~90 pounds), securing loads, trip planning, and maintaining safety. Required: valid Class A CDL, 21+, 4+ months experience (or recent grads with training), safe driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse clearance, and ability to lift tarps during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads, no experience required — training provided)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physical ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
