Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity with System Transport. Regional/OTR driving for flatbed loads (glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, specialty metals) in Division 290, Kansas City, MO area. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Full-time drivers receive competitive weekly and annual pay, transition/orientation pay, and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) and matching, life insurance, PTO accrual). Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset; tarp-loading requirement of roughly 70% of loads with a 90-pound tarp capability. Equipment includes modern flatbed trucks with safety features; driver support via a 24/7 driver portal and ongoing safety emphasis.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads may require no experience)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (demonstrated during orientation)
