Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver for regional and OTR routes. Responsibilities include transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Training offered for Recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Includes competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, transition/orientation pay, and a robust benefits package. Requires CDL-A, age 21+, a safe driving record, background check, drug test, and the ability to lift 90 pounds for tarp duties. Home time varies by division with off-most weekends for a 34-hour reset.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
