Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver role offering regional/OTR routes with System Transport. Responsibilities include transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Training is available for recent CDL-A graduates. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay metrics, plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, overtime, safety bonuses) and transition/orientation pay. Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Requires a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, clean driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse compliance. Must be able to lift a 90-pound tarp and tarp roughly 70% of loads during orientation and ongoing operations. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO accrual, and more. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (orientation test)
