Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver role on regional/OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates during a limited period. Compensation includes weekly pay and comprehensive benefits; transition/orientation pay and various load/operational pay (tarp, detention, safety bonuses, etc.). Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset, with division-specific schedules. Required: valid Class A CDL, 21+, clean driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse result, and ability to tarp loads (90 lb tarp onto a 5-foot platform). Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- A Clean Drug Test required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping around 70% of loads) during orientation
