Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Drive regional or OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for Recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Compensation includes weekly and annual pay, with tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, and per-mile pay; orientation and transition pay provided. Home time typically off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; benefits available after waiting period. Must meet standard hiring requirements and be physically able to tarp loads (approx. 90 pounds) as part of orientation. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
