Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver role with System Transport in the western region. Responsibilities include transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment across regional and OTR routes. Training available for recent CDL-A grads through May 31, 2026. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO accrual, transition and orientation pay, and various earnings components (base pay, per-mile rate, and accessorial pay). Home time typically includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Must pass background and drug tests and maintain a safe driving record; tarp handling (70% of loads) is required. Strong emphasis on safety, equipment maintenance, and company culture (America Proud, Flatbed Strong).
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
