Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver role with System Transport. Responsibilities include transporting goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional and OTR routes using flatbed equipment. Program targets recent CDL-A graduates with a training offer; full-time drivers receive a competitive pay package with weekly and annual earnings potential, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border-crossing, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay) and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, savings, 401(k), life insurance, PTO). Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset, and orientation/transition pay is provided. Must possess a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, have a safe driving record, complete background and drug checks, and be able to lift a 90-pound tarp for loads. Transition and training opportunities are available for recent graduates during the recruitment window through May 31, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months driving experience (except for Recent CDL-A grads we will train)
- Safe driving record
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Ability to lift 90 pounds tarp onto 5-foot high platform during orientation
