Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Drive regional and OTR routes handling flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; transition and orientation pay included. Tarping loads (approximately 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform) required; benefits package available including health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), life insurance, EAP, PTO/sick leave, and more. Competitive pay: weekly and annual pay ranges plus accessorial pay (tarps, stop pay, detention, border crossing, and over-dimensional pay), and a per-mile rate for flatbed driving. Includes safety and compliance prerequisites: clean driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse compliance. Terminal location: Kansas City, MO. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Drug Test required
- Clearinghouse required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
