Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional/OTR routes. Transport hard goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates during a limited-time offer. Competitive pay with weekly and annual compensation, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits. Must meet standard hiring requirements including a valid CDL-A, 21+ years old, safe driving record, and background/clearance checks. Must be physically able to tarp loads and handle lifting requirements; full-time opportunity with home time featuring weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
