Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunities in the western region with System Transport. Drive regional and OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates during a special offer through May 31, 2026. Competitive weekly pay and annual pay, comprehensive benefits after eligibility waiting period, home time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset, and a transition/orientation pay package. Responsibilities include operating flatbed trucks, securing loads with tarps, and maintaining safe driving standards while adhering to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
