Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Hiring for regional and OTR routes, transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for Recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Full-time pay packages include weekly and annual pay figures, with additional accessorial pay (tarp, detention, border crossing, etc.). Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset; official terminal: Kansas City, MO, and the Maplewood, MN location. Equipment is flatbed; driver must be able to tarp loads and meet other standard hiring requirements. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, and more. Must possess a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and meet background/drug/Clearinghouse requirements; prior driving experience preferred but not required for recent grads.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
