Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Regional and OTR routes; home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Competitive pay with a weekly and annual pay structure, including tarp, stop, detention, and other accessorial pay. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates, with emphasis on safe driving, load securement, and compliance requirements. Equipment features and benefits include safety systems, orientation pay, transition pay, health/dental/vision, 401(k), and rider policy. Flatbed driving responsibilities include hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals; lifting tarps up to 90 pounds; maintaining a clean driving record; passing background checks and drug tests; and adhering to company safety standards. Eligible applicants must be 21+, possess a CDL-A, meet hiring requirements, and be prepared for orientation and onboarding processes.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse
- Physically able to lift 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
