Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Regional and OTR routes available for drivers transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for Recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay with weekly and annual components, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO), orientation and transition pay, and a structured home-time plan (34-hour reset). Must possess a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and meet standard hiring requirements; strong emphasis on safe driving and ability to handle tarp loads on flatbeds.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarpequipment)
Desired Qualifications
- CDL-A with flatbed endorsement (if applicable)
- Ability to lift tarps up to 90 pounds
- Safety-conscious mindset
- Reliable transportation to Kansas City, MO or WAUKEE, IA
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug test
- Good driving record
