Job Summary
Recent Flatbed CDL Driver needed for System Transport to operate regional and over-the-road routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training is available for Recent CDL-A graduates; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and transition/orientation pay. Drivers are responsible for tarp-down loading, securing loads, and lifting tarps (up to 90 pounds) as part of daily duties. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; flatbed equipment and pay packages vary by experience and route. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads: no experience required - we will train you)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
