Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional/OTR routes with System Transport. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Full benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO, sick time, and transition/orientation pay. Home time primarily weekends with a 34-hour reset; rate per mile and weekly/annual pay detailed in package. Must meet standard hiring requirements (CDL-A, age 21+, safe driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse, ability to lift 90 pounds). Class A CDL required. Regional division 290, Kansas City, MO terminal.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
