Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional/OTR routes with System Transport. Driver will transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Recent CDL-A grads are eligible with training offered through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual pay, transition/orientation pay, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off. Home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Equipment is flatbed; route type is regional. Requires valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, tolerates tarp lifting, background check, clean drug test and Clearinghouse, and no more than 6 jobs in last 3 years.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- A Clean Drug Test required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation
- Flatbed tarp experience about 70% of loads
