Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver role with System Transport in Division 290 (Kansas City, MO terminal). Recent CDL-A graduates eligible for training through May 31, 2026. Regional and OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Compensation includes weekly pay, annual pay range, and various accessorial pay (tarp pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, etc.). Transition and orientation pay provided; comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, life insurance, EAP, PTO). Must meet standard hiring requirements, possess valid CDL-A, be 21+, and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks. Capable of lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice; orientation period includes tarp-related duties. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; tarps used on approximately 70% of loads. Age 21+ with safe driving record and ability to lift 90 pounds. This is a full-time driving role with a focus on flatbed regional work.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
