Job Summary
Recent CDL-A Flatbed Driver opportunity in the western region. System Transport is hiring recent CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes, transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training is available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual pay figures, comprehensive benefits, transition/orientation pay, and generous home time (34-hour reset). Drivers operate on flatbed equipment with tarps, requiring physical tarp handling, and must meet required hiring qualifications to join Division 290 based in Kansas City, MO. Home time is off most weekends; no pets policy with rider option after 90 days of safe driving.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
