Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver role focused on regional OTCom offerings. Drive flatbed equipment to haul materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training is available for recent CDL-A graduates. Compensation includes weekly pay, annual pay for full-time drivers, and accessorial pay (e.g., tarp pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and tarp-related duties). Orientation and transition pay are provided. Health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits are available after eligibility waiting periods. PTO accrues with years of service. Role emphasizes safety and customer-ready equipment, with home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Equipment includes modern trucks with safety features; drivers tarp loads and comply with tarping requirements as part of loads. Eligible applicants must meet standard hiring requirements and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
