Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity with System Transport in the western US region. Drivers will handle regional and OTR routes, transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for Recent CDL-A graduates. Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), transition/orientation pay, PTO, and other incentive pay. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; role emphasizes safety and modern equipment, with a strong emphasis on tarping and load securement.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- A Clean Drug Test required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping load)
- System Transport will test this during orientation
