Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver role in the western/ regional and OTR space with System Transport. Drive flatbed trailers transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training is offered for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Home time emphasizes off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, life insurance, PTO after eligibility waiting periods, transition/orientation pay, and various forms of per-load and accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, etc.). Opportunities exist across regional routes with terminals in Kansas City, MO and Steubenville, OH. Requires valid CDL-A, age 21+, safe driving record, and ability to lift heavy tarps during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (to be tested during orientation)
