Job Summary
Flatbed CDL Driver opportunity with System Transport (Division 290). Drive regional or OTR routes hauling flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Recent CDL-A graduates may apply and be trained during a limited-time offer through 5/31/2026. Competitive pay including weekly and annual pay, transition and orientation pay, extensive driver benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, life insurance, EAP), and various forms of paid time off. Home time varies by division with off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Requires a valid Class A CDL, age 21+, safe driving record, and completing required background and drug tests. Physical tarp-handling capability is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
- System Transport will tarp load about 70% of loads
- Flatbed driver opportunities require tarp handling
