Job Summary
Recent CDL-A Flatbed Driver needed for Regional/OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals. Training offered for recent CDL-A graduates. Must possess a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, maintain a safe driving record, pass a background check and drug test, and meet Clearinghouse requirements. Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform twice. Competitive pay with weekly and annual earnings potential, transition/orientation pay, comprehensive benefits, and home time most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Location: Kansas City, MO, operating on Division 290; in-person employment with standard benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping ~70% of loads)
