Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver needed for System Transport in the Kansas City area. Role targets recent CDL-A graduates with training available through May 31, 2026. Responsibilities include transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional or OTR flatbed routes. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual pay, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, EAP), transition/orientation pay, PTO accrual, and abundant per-load and accessorial pay (tarpauln pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, and more). Home time includes off most weekends for a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition assistance provided. Requires lifting ability for tarps, adherence to DOT and safety standards, and a valid CDL-A. Training offered for recent graduates; multiple route options and a recruiter-led process to determine best fit.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (training during orientation)
