Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity requiring driving responsibility for regional or OTR routes while transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training is offered for Recent CDL-A Graduates; benefits include health and dental insurance, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO, and transition/orientation pay. Home time varies by division with off-most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Drivers are paid weekly with a pay package that scales by route and experience, plus tarp/detention/pay bonuses and per-mile compensation ($0.57-$0.71 per mile). Orientation and transition pay are provided, and riders or pets policies are described separately. The role emphasizes safety, equipment upkeep, and adherence to company policies, with ongoing support via a driver portal and 24/7 road service. Applicants must possess a valid CDL-A and meet standard hiring requirements; no experience is required for recent CDL-A grads during the promotion period ending 5/31/2026.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (training during orientation)
