Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity for regional and OTR routes with System Transport. The role involves transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Training is offered for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Compensation includes weekly and annual pay with multiple accessorial pays, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits. Home time varies with division; most weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Requires lifting a 90-pound tarp twice during orientation; safety and compliance are emphasized through a modern fleet with safety features and 24/7 support.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping about 70% of loads)
