Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver for System Transport in the western region, with regional and OTR routes. Transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for Recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Requires valid Class A CDL, 21+, 4+ months driving experience (or recent grads with training), safe driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse, and the ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform. Home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Flatbed equipment with per-mile pay and potential accessorial pay. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and transition/orientation pay. Locations include Division 290 in Kansas City, MO; general emphasis on the Delaware, Ohio area as the terminal location hint; ample pay with weekly and annual ranges.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience or for Recent CDL-A grads, no experience required (training provided)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
