Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity on a regional/OTR mix with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment on regional routes (Division 290) out of Kansas City, MO, hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Full-time role with weekly and annual pay, plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, tarp work), transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO). Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset; driver must be physically able to tarp loads (approximately 90 pounds) and tarp about 70% of loads. Requires valid Class A CDL, 21+, clean driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse verification. System Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
