Job Summary
Recent CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver role with System Transport. Driving regional OT routes in the western region, transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in flatbed configurations. Training offered for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual earnings potential, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, and tarp-related pay). Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay included. Benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO accrual, and more. Requires valid Class A CDL, 21+, safe driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse compliance, and physical ability to tarp loads. Location: Kansas City, MO terminal; regional driver with full-time schedule and ensured pay scales. No experience? Training available for recent CDL-A grads during the promotional period.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- System Transport will tarp ~70% of loads
