Job Summary
System Transport is seekingRecent CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes. The role involves transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Training is available for recent CDL-A graduates. Key duties include loading/unloading tarps (up to 90 pounds, tarping about 70% of loads), maintaining a safe driving record, passing background checks and drug testing, and adhering to incentive programs (transition/orientation pay, safety bonuses). Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset, with pay packages including weekly pay and annual earnings up to approximately $102,993.80. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Ability to tarp ~70% of loads
