Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional and OTR routes. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Regular pay through weekly and annual packages, with additional accessorial pay and transition/orientation pay. Home time includes off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Benefits available after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, EAP, PTO). Must pass background check, drug test, Clearinghouse, and physical tarp-lifting requirements. Eligible applicants must have a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and meet standard hiring requirements; preferred 1 year driving experience but not required. Hiring deadline 5/31/2026.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
